Taking a big decision for women, the cabinet of Jharkhand government has started a new scheme by the government in view of their nutrition and health and hygiene expenses. Under which they will be given ₹ 1000 per month. The name of the scheme of Jharkhand government is Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana. Under this scheme, those women will get the benefit whose family income is less than Rs 8 lakh annually. Women applying under the scheme must be residents of Jharkhand.
Their age should be between 21 years to 50 years. Women of less or more age than this will not get the benefit of the scheme. Along with this, the woman applying must have Antyodaya Anna Yojana Card (yellow ration card) / Grihasthi Card (pink ration card) / K-Oil Ration Card (white ration card) / green ration card of Jharkhand state. To give information to women about the scheme, the state government will organize sheras in the panchayats of all the districts. Along with this, applications of women will also be submitted there.

To apply for Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana, women need to have some documents which include voter ID card, Aadhaar card, ration card, bank account passbook and eligibility related documents. Only then women can go to special camps organized by the government and get the application form. And can apply for the scheme there. Anganwadi workers will also help women in these camps.
